Every journey is a journey to G*D

Katharsis means Soul Cleansing...

...but what exactly is it? I have been dealing with this question for several decades now. I have come across so many interesting answers on this journey that I would now like to start sharing all this knowledge and experience to accompany you on your journey.

On this journey called “life”, it is inevitable to deal with the trinity. I have placed my main focus on the Trinity between Body, Mind and Soul and have been dealing with the health aspects in every area for many years.

Three is a very mystical number and has a deeper meaning in almost all cultures. We will encounter it very often on our journey.

The stairway up to God is long and beautiful.
Each step is unique.
Each step is its own little journey...
-Silva Katharsis

Keep the picture of the stairs in mind as we travel.

body, mind and soul

So: “BODY, MIND and SOUL, bring all three into harmony” is something you hear again and again. It has almost become fashionable. If you look at yoga in particular, it's often advertised as a way of harmonizing all three. Sounds quite simple, doesn't it? But have you ever tried it? I can assure you, a little yoga is not enough.
Everything & everyone around you is your teacher...
-Buddhistisches proverb
I wondered for quite a while why it was always mentioned in this order, as it was absolutely obvious to me with my really moderate knowledge at the time that the body was the “least important” part of this trinity. Then I slowly began to understand the system. The staircase... Everything builds on each other and the lowest step in this system is the body. Which of course does not mean that it is not important.

body

The material part of a person is called the BODY, which, from a biological point of view, is divided into an organism. Since I strongly assume that you also have a BODY, you will know roughly what there is here. Skin, hair, organs, eyes, bones, muscles, bones, etc. In other words, the necessary things that work almost the same for everyone. Why I have inserted an “almost” here will surely become clear to you as the journey progresses. Apart from what we can see, feel and touch, there is another level that is present in every human being. The subtle level.
You may have heard the term “Aura” before. It is still reviled by some people these days, but it surrounds us all. The Aura consists of a subtle energy, a kind of frequency that we usually cannot see with the naked eye. Mostly, because there are people who can see it. Several people can feel it. Perhaps you yourself have already experienced meeting a person, or perhaps only seeing them from a distance, who exerts a certain kind of fascination on you or whose presence you feel when they have been in a place that you came to a short time later.
What has now become established in science are our Chakras, our energy centers. Here, too, we work our way up from the bottom. Starting with the root chakra, the Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Forehead Chakra and the Crown Chakra. If you would like to know more about Chakras, please contact me, I will be happy to refer you to the relevant literature or give you a short personal course. Scientists succeeded in photographing these chakras a long time ago, which is why we know which colors to assign to them. Or rather, the colors were already known, but have now been confirmed. The nadis are located in our chakras. Nadis are the very small energy channels, of which we have so many that it is impossible to count them.
On a physical level, there are many techniques that can be used to keep the BODY healthy. Sufficient exercise and nutrition are an essential and important factor here. But it also includes the health of the subtle level, consisting of Chakras, Nadis and the Aura. It is particularly important to regularly stimulate the Chakras and Nadia, unblock them and keep them flowing. This is also known in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and one of these possibilities is Yoga.

It's not your back that hurts, but the burden...
It's not your eyes that hurt, but the injustice...
It's not your head that hurts, but your thoughts....
It's not your throat that hurts, but what you don't express or say with anger...
It is not your stomach that hurts, but what your soul does not digest...
It's not your liver that hurts, but your anger...
It's not your heart that hurts, but love...
...And it is love itself that contains the most powerful medicine...

mind

The second level is consciousness, the MIND. The human being functions in a similar way to a mobile, where the effect of a force or energy from one of the elements has an immediate effect on the other elements. In this way, the body can have an effect on the mind and the MIND on the BODY. Physical exercise can make the mind feel clearer and freer. Walking, Yoga or Pilates in particular have a greater effect than other “sports”. You will find out why this is the case in the course of our journey. But our MIND can also have a significant influence on our BODY. A popular, very clear example of this is the story of the mother lifting a truck to free her child from underneath. This phenomenon is not as drastic, but it can also be clearly observed in endurance athletes, who are capable of exceptional performances if they have the necessary mental strength. But awareness of our mental abilities and their stability is also essential in everyday life. Especially as our modern lives are subject to ever-increasing demands of all kinds. Mental strength and health are just as important to train as our BODIES.
Self-discipline begins with controlling your thoughts. If you can't control what you think, you can't control what you do.
-By Napoleon Hill

Soul

This third level is probably the weirdest to describe. For me at least. This level is more about feeling and knowing, trusting and believing.
Side note: I distance myself from any kind of religion when it comes to the topic or the use of the word “faith”!
When it comes to the SOUL, we have arrived at the absolute subtle realm. It has increasingly lost its importance, if you look at older, or rather, very old ships, there is no doubt that every human being has a SOUL. On the contrary, people used to know quite well that the soul does not live in a body, but that every SOUL is surrounded by a body. That is a considerable difference. But if you look around today, the body has the highest priority. Beauty, wellness, the cult of the body and exaggerated sport have a decisive influence on our society. The SOUL is sometimes involved, but usually only in order to sell something better and attract a certain clientele. Unfortunately, Yoga is no exception! There are many reasons for the “problem” with the SOUL. Firstly, it cannot be seen, tasted or touched. There are only rumors about it. Rumor has it that it weighs 21 grams.Scientists who weighed the bodies of dying people before and after the dying process came to this conclusion. In some hospitals, nursing homes and hospices, you can still find staff who, if they know their job well, open the window after a person has died. The background: so that the soul can get out, but in our journey I will go deeper into the underlying reasons why the soul is being pushed more and more into the background in today's society. Step by step, we will nourish ourselves with the essence of being and also get an answer to the deep connection between BODY, SPIRIT and SOUL and, above all, what the great and whole and the Creator of us all has to do with it.
The free soul is rare, but when you see it, you will recognize it, because you will feel good when you are near it."
